After the bombardment of June 1944, the Bellevue hotel was rebuilt during the time 1950 to 1952.
Mr. Jean Maupin made the Table of reference of Gray until the end of the Sixties and rehabilitated the Castle of Rigny of it, to make a gastronomical residence of it, where his children and small children always exert.
Several purchasers succeeded and since January 1, 2004, Mrs Paris Philippe and Champreux Bernard are the new owners.
Having chosen to preserve the name of the restaurant which had enabled them to take their first steps (April 1998), the Bellevue hotel became the Mastroquet hotel.
